Please pray for Kristine Determann

A week ago, Kristine (Krissy) Determann was diagnosed with Lou Gehrigs disease. She can barely talk, or walk because of muscle degeneration. She uses a walker and can not climb stairs. The disease is rapidly advancing. Please pray for a miracle healing and for her salvation!

Please also pray for her loving brother, Tom who is also not a believer, but is reaching out to God and asking for his mercy and grace. He said, “I would move heaven and earth to help her…” he commented in his last facebook message. I returned the reply and wrote:

I believe this to be true… God’s love for you is unconditional and undeserved. He loves us in spite of our disobedience, our weakness, our sin and our selfishness. He loves you enough to provide a way to abundant, eternal life. From the cross Christ cried out, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they are doing.” God loves sinners so much that he gave his son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for us that we might have eternal life! Seek the Kingdom of God and all things will be added unto you!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

On facebook Tom commented…”Thanks, Tina will redouble my prayers in the hope you are right and he will listen to a sinner like me!”

My response was:

“When the righteous (those in a right relationship with God) cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:17-18 ESV

The bible says if we get right with God, he will hear our prayers. If we are not saved by grace, sin stands in the way of our prayers! I wish I knew this before my brother died of cancer years ago. I remember saying, “God if you heal him I will do anything…!” Wasn’t long after when I got right with God and got saved, I started seeing answers to my prayers. That is what we call a personal relationship through Jesus Christ. Get right with God Tom. You’ve got nothing to lose and all to gain… It is not about going to church but about you accepting him as your personal Lord and Saviour! Check this out: “How to get right with God.”

Please let’s unite in prayer for Krissy and Tom believing for healing and salvation!
