Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior? Your Lord?

Many people I’ve met while traveling often tell me about an experience they had about going to church. “So what are you?” I’m asked. I tell them that “I’m a true believer “Mark 16″ and have accepted Jesus as my Savior and Lord”. Can you imagine when you stand before Jesus on your final day and tell him, “Well, I was a good catholic…but sorry I didn’t really come to know you…” Jesus requires us to come into a personal relationship with him through the Holy Spirit. It is not about being a good Catholic, Anglican, Pentecostal, Prodestant, etc. Dentominations divide the church and do an “autopsy” on the body of Christ. No where in the bible does it talk about this. Man made religion nullifies the word of God.

Also I’m asked about “How can I make him Lord over my life?” Jesus has a wonderful plan for each and every one of us. When you have invited him into your life, your spiritual journey has begun. Like any good relationship that is meaningful, you have to get to know the person. Jesus has sent the “Holy Spirit” to be your counselor and guide you into righteousness and a lasting relationship with Jesus. Daily scripture reading, prayer and a christian fellowship is the key to coming to know Jesus. Jesus becomes your Lord as you trust him with all aspects of your life. Watch and see if your life does not change as you submit and are faithful to his teachings/ways.
